Two Week Stats and Computer Meltdowns

Sorry to report that there will be no new pictures in this post as our computer has conveniently decided to crash a few days ago. Ironically we just had the entire computer cleaned out and put everything on a zip drive so hopefully we won't lose much but who knows when we'll get our act together to either get it fixed or buy a new one.

On another note, Eli is doing great and Ethan seems relatively unfazed by Eli's presence, and in fact is still enamoured with him. He demands that Eli lie in bed with us as we read books and shares his loveys with Eli, it is really very sweet. He rarely calls Eli by his name, instead referring him to as "my baby" and shows him off to anyone who will listen. Eli had his 2 week check-up today and he weighs 8lbs 3 oz and is 21". He not only regained his birth weight but gained almost another pound in 2 weeks not to mention grew an inch. Overall he is a content baby and only fusses when he is hungry, tired etc. We are working on the sleeping during the night department as he tends to get very gassy which makes sleeping hard for him and us!! My mother left on Wednesday and so far being alone with the 2 boys is going well. We go to the park, gym class, piano lessons and the grocery store...all the fun places and although we have our moments, we get through it pretty well for the most part.

Ethan continues to be doing great at his school and I was so worried he would have a tough time going back to school after the 2 week summer break and Eli's arrival but he actually goes to school better than he ever has. He loves his teacher and seems to really feel good about what he is learning and the school which is such a relief to Bryan and me. He gets so excited when I bring Eli to drop off/pick up and eagerly shows everyone his "baby".

Hopefully, we'll get our computer situation cleared up soon or else I will be continuing to use Bryan's laptop and force him to allow me to download pictures to be able to share as Eli and Ethan continue to grow and change so much each and every day!
